Low Tide are a young, female-led indie band hailing from Edinburgh, where they write and record. Their Sunburn Season EP released in 2024, but more recently the band have scattered across Europe for educational purposes. The band, however, still work on music together, releasing two singles in 2025. We sat down with drummer Danny, to chat about how they manage distance, the songwriting process, incorporating feminine themes in their music, and their social media presence. ML:

leahgte is a DJ and producer and one of the biggest names flying the Scottish flag in the UK 'underground' rap scene. Optimo (Espacio) began as a weekly club night at Glasgow's Sub Club, which ran from 1997 until 2010. It was founded by resident DJs Jonnie 'JG' Wilkes and Keith 'JD Twitch' McIvor, and named after the Liquid Liquid song Optimo. Their residency was legendary for its' energy, eclecticism and legendary guests, like LCD Soundsystem and Franz Ferdinand. They have toured Europe, America and Japan, and regularly host radio shows on NTS. JD Twitch passed away from a brain tumour in S
